I can't believe Lindsey is 7, in 2nd Grade, and getting baptized next year! Time really does fly! We went to the school to eat lunch with her on her birthday and almost weren't allowed down to the lunchroom. The new principal didn't want parents eating with students so early in the school year, but thankfully she let us through in the end.
We got her a scripture quad and tote like we did with Gracie at 7 to help her prepare for her baptism next year. We copied this idea from another family in the ward. She loved all of her gifts! Thank you everyone!
Poor little Grace was in tears because she had gathered some gifts for Lindsey's birthday and I somehow missed that conversation so she asked where her gift for Lindsey was. Luckily Tim knew what she was talking about and quickly put the items in a bag for Gracie to give Lindsey.
Lindsey went crazy for her baby cousins while we were in Idaho, so she specifically asked for a doll and stroller for her birthday. She's going to be a great Momma one day!
It's hard when it's not your birthday and you want to play with all the new gifts! Olivia was not happy with this situation! Lots of tears!
The kids always can't wait to help me make and decorate their birthday cake!
It took her an extra long time to blow all her candles out this year for some reason and as soon as they were out she started eating all the candy letters off the cake.
Her little fangs with her missing front teeth . . .
This was their "Enough pictures already Mom, just let us play with all the new stuff in peace!"
Cooper wanted me to take a video of him trying out Lindsey's new jumper thing. She wouldn't let her new baby doll out of her sight for days!
Happy Birthday my spunky Lindsey Lee! You are so beautiful, smart, and funny! You LOVE reading and you always chime in with impressive information. Gracie once said, "How does Lindsey know so much!?!" You make us all laugh and we love you so much! Your new nickname is Caboose, because it seems like you are always the last one eating at the table, the last one to get going in the mornings, and the last one to get loaded and unloaded in the van. We all thought it was quite the coincidence when you joyfully let us know that you were the very last "speaker" in the Primary Program last week too! Happy Birthday baby girl!
