Snow Fun!!!

We were able to have some fun in the snow at Grandma and Granddad Corless's house today and I just had to post these pictures! Thanks Granddad for helping take the pictures and video-taping! Gracie just kind of stared and didn't know what to think. She did smile when she got to sit up front with daddy and help drive though. Lindsey's too little to know what's going on too but she looked so cute in her little snow-outfit. Times like these make the sleepless nights worth it. I say this because last night the girls took turns waking up from one o'clock a.m. on and Tim and I are pretty tired. Gracie won't take naps anymore and Lindsey usually only naps for fifteen to twenty minutes at a time. They are both asleep right now so I better sign off before one of them wakes up. I was going to load some pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses and some adorable ones of Lindsey and Tim sleeping but as many of you know I have always been the one that struggles with technology and I couldn't figure out how to turn some of the pictures so that the girls were right side up instead of sideways. I'll have to get Tim's help sometime over the break and load them on. We are excited for Christmas and are glad to be close to our parents and siblings! We are looking forward to Daniel's phone call from California and have been helping Gracie practice her "hi Dan!" Hopefully she performs for him! Merry Christmas everyone! We love you!

Hair Affair

I have been trying to do new things with the girls' hair lately. I am not as talented as Heidi but I'm trying. They are adorable whether their hair is done or not but I need the practice.

This is how Lindsey's hair looks normally. WILD!!! Being red makes it seem even more wild but I love it when it's sticking up all over the place!

In the above two pictures she has one little curler in her hair on top. Everyone says Lindsey reminds them of Sarah and my mom used to do this to Sarah's hair so I thought I would try it out.

Isn't she adorable with that little curl!?! She has so much hair for such a little thing!!!

Now on to Gracie. She looks frowny in the first picture but the whole time I was putting the curlers in her hair she was saying "pretty" and touching them.

What a goofy girl! If you can't tell she was doing some kind of fake laugh/smile in these two pictures!

It's nice that she loves watching movies because when I do try and do her hair I just pop one in and she stares away at it while I put the curlers in. She usually pulls out a few on her own before they're ready but she does pretty good for an almost two year old!

Gracie is wearing the same outfit in the pictures below but I promise it was a different day. I didn't torture her all in one day by doing the curlers and then french braids. Her hair is still too short because it was falling out while I was braiding it and she had it all pulled out within five minutes but it did look cute! What a doll! She knows it too!

Last year Gracie was a ladybug and she was so adorable that I just had to put these pics in too!

Lindsey Lee

Gracie Jo

I've been wanting to create a blog for quite some time now and I finally made the attempt. I haven't figured out how to set everything up yet but I will.
