"Graduation"

My little Roo is all done with first grade! I can't believe that she'll be in second grade next year and that she'll be getting baptized. She is such a good, sweet, smart girl and she's always there to help me when I need.

They had all the first grade classes get their awards at the same time and they called names randomly. They weren't in alphabetical order, or by class, so I missed them saying her name, but I at least got her getting her award.

She got to be right next to her friend Haley.

Her friend Alli goes to our church and was in Gracie's class this year.

Gracie's end of year class party . . .

She gave Cooper her robot drawing. She is such a great artist!

Cooper sat right next to Haley's Mom. He's not shy at all.

They danced to some YouTube videos for us.

Little Linds is all done with Kindergarten! She is such a sweet, funny, smart girl and she has just amazed us at how well she is reading!

She is so cute and little! Here she is with her friends Lorin and Zaria.

They had several songs to sing for us parents.

No More Training Wheels!

I asked Gracie if she wanted to try her bike without training wheels. She got a scared look on her face and said, "I'll fall and bleed!" I told her that she probably would a couple times, but that's how you learn. I just left her alone about it, but then she asked me to take them off. She got a little frustrated with the whole process (especially when other bikes and siblings got in the way) but overall she picked up on it really quick. Now every day she begs to go out and practice. She is doing so well!

Cuties!

It's fun pulling out outfits that Gracie and Lindsey always wore together, and now seeing Lindsey and Olivia wear them. They're all growing up so much!

Gracie didn't want to hug Cooper. Little stinker!

Found Olivia asleep in Lindsey's bed . . .

Our sweet neighbor is always bringing us her kids old toys as they outgrow them. Her kids are in 6th, 5th, and 3rd grade, so they always have hand-me-downs for us. They recently had to foreclose on their home and move. I wish we could help them somehow! They are the sweetest friends. This is one of the latest toys they brought over. The kids have had a blast with it!

The kids were so funny one day playing "Cinderella". Lindsey was the stepmother, Coop and Livi the step siblings, and Gracie was Cinderella. They all played their bossy roles well!

Here are the three evils at the ball.

While poor Cinderella was left to clean up the mess . . .

Olivia is officially in a twin sized bed! She was so excited to get the same bedding as her big sisters! She looks so tiny!

The twin Cooper had been using is the one we gave Olivia, and we got a queen size for Cooper since his room is essentially the guest room when we have company. All the kids love playing under his big bed and he loves piling as many stuffed animals as he can on it.

Gracie lost her third tooth! All of them have been on the bottom, so we have yet to lose the two front teeth.

Olivia came into our room early one morning and fell back asleep while I got the girls ready for school.

Cooper refuses to wear this orange shirt for some reason, but I finally got him to wear it so that he could match Olivia.

They were pretending that Lindsey was their Mom in these pictures and she was reading them all a bedtime story. Now why can't they play together nicely like this all the time?
