Troll Hair

Lindsey's hair is so long!!! I just had to share this picture! What a cutie pie!!!

Cooper's Blessing Day!!!

We are so blessed and happy to have this little guy in our family! Tim's blessing was beautiful and Cooper was so good for his Daddy. He looked so handsome in his little outfit (thanks Mom!). You can't see the details in these pictures but it has a cute little sweater vest and bowtie. Adorable! He's squinting in these pictures because I flipped on the light to take them and he didn't have time to adjust. Sorry Coop!

It was fun to look back at our family picture on each of the kids' blessing days. We've all sure changed! Me for the worse - bleh. I've already forgotten so much and Gracie is only three. I do remember each of their blessing days though and I am so grateful to Tim for bringing the priesthood into our home. It makes all the difference. These are too small to tell but when I see baby pictures of Gracie I think Cooper looks a lot like her.

When we got home it was a big rush to get pictures and video before Tim had to go back for a meeting, so Cooper was ready to eat and mad at us, and Lindsey was ready for her nap. It was a good thing we took them though because his meeting lasted three hours and I didn't want to get everyone dressed up again.

Sweet Moments!

Gracie's short cast! I thought they would take it all the way off and redo a short one but they just sawed off the top and then re-padded the top and bottom. I told Gracie before we went that she could choose a new color since I thought they would do a new one - whoops! So when we were there she asked for purple. The nurse was kind enough to get the purple when she re-padded the top and bottom so now Gracie has a multi-colored cast. She has to wear it for three weeks. She was trembling and crying when they sawed the top off so I'm not looking forward to when they saw the rest off but it will be nice when the three weeks are up and we can give her normal baths again (I guess I can't complain because Tim's been the one giving her baths) and have her be self-reliant again.

She's complained more about the short cast than she did with the full-leg one. I think it's because her knee was bent for so long and now she can straighten it. Plus she scratched all around her knee pretty bad. It must have been itching so much and she was finally able to scratch it. Today was the first time she's complained about itching and she was trying to get under the short cast. Poor thing! The doctor said she can put weight on it so I was hoping she could go to the bathroom on her own once they shortened it but she won't put weight on it. She cries when we tell her she can stand on it and walk and she says, "No, it's still hurt."

I think Gracie likes her new brother, don't you? Every time she hears him cry she says, "It's alright Coop!" or "He's awake! Can I hold him?" I've also discovered that you can get the older kids to help. When Cooper is crying and I'm in the middle of something, Gracie loves to help hold his binkie in his mouth for me. It really is a big help! He had been screaming right before I took these pictures and Gracie climbed up on the couch and put his binkie back in his mouth and he fell asleep. Thanks Grace!

I love this picture of them together! Gracie's curls are so gorgeous! It's just a sweet moment! I played around with the coloring and got the picture below. I love it!

Ponytails!

I love it when the girls wear ponytails! They just look so adorable! Lindsey got really into it when I was taking their pictures and she was turning her head this way and that for me, grinning huge while modeling for me.

Tongue-Tied

Horrible picture I know but I wanted to show Cooper's "tongue-tied" tongue. It makes the tip of his tongue look a little forked like a snake. I was reading things online about it and it said that usually it makes it hard for them to eat. He's obviously getting enough to eat but it can lead to problems with speech and other things later on. If you take care of it soon enough they just have to do a simple "snip" procedure but if you wait too long they have to have anesthesia and a more complicated and painful procedure. He has an appointment in April so we'll see if the doctor thinks its bad enough to need clipped or if they'll make us wait to see if it affects his speech later on. I'm hoping they just clip it now.

Anyone Else?

Each kid got jealous one at a time until Daddy ended up with all three in his lap!

My favorite position to hold a baby! It is so peaceful when they are asleep on your shoulder. He always looks so much bigger in pictures than he does in person - to me anyway. He's my little guy! It's been tough because he screams unless he's being held so I feel like I can't get much done or take care of the girls unless I just put him down and listen to him scream in the background while I do other things. The other day I couldn't take the crying anymore, even though I was in the middle of getting the girls their breakfast, and when I picked him up all flustered he immediately stopped crying and grinned at me. I couldn't help but smile. Little stinker!

My Cute Babes!

Something is wrong with our camera and it's really frustrating. For some reason it keeps taking blurry pictures. A bunch of the pictures from the hospital are blurry. I don't delete them because we can't do them over and when I try to take better ones in the moment, they're blurry too. It happens when Tim takes them too so I know it's not just me this time. I took a bunch with Gracie holding Cooper and got the same results so you'll just have to look at blurry pictures here and there on the blog. Sorry! Hopefully we figure it out!

We have been so blessed through everything and I know it's because of prayer. Thank you everyone for praying for us. Things have actually been really calm around here and we're settling into a routine pretty smoothly - we're just tired, but that comes with parenthood. I think I'm adjusting better to having three than I did to having two. Of course, I haven't attempted to leave the house with all three by myself yet. HAHA!!! I love my cute kiddos and am so glad they're all here with us and healthy! Tim has been a great help! I don't know how single parents survive.

We love and miss everyone and hope these pictures and videos help shorten the distance between us.
