Krispy Kreme!

Every Tuesday our hotel room gets cleaned so I take the kids on a walk and try to keep them entertained. We stopped at Krispy Kreme for breakfast this morning! Gracie picked a white powdered strawberry filled one and Lindsey picked one with sprinkles! Poor Grace only took a few bites because she's still not really eating from being sick (she won't even drink apple juice and anyone who knows her well knows how bad that is) and Lindsey almost finished hers. I know some of you will think I'm crazy but I'm not really a fan of their doughnuts. They are way too sweet for me.

Gracie has become quite attached to her pink sunglasses and she takes them with her everywhere we go. She even kept them on the whole time we played at a park the other day. Silly Girl!!!

We've decided that we've had enough sickness and we're going to Idaho! It will be so good to be with family and the kids will love getting to play outside and see everyone. Hopefully they'll get healthy again and we won't share our sicknesses with everyone. We'll miss Tim and he has already said that he'll miss us but it's what will be best. He'll drive us home and then fly back to keep working in California until October 7th.

Lindsey's 2nd Birthday!!!

My little Lindsey Lee is 2!!! She is such a cuddly, sweet, spunky girl! She also loves music. Every Sunday she grabs the hymn book and sings and directs. Our first Sunday here a woman came up to us and said she was watching her and that we need to expose her to as much music as possible because she was sent here for something.

We love you so much Lindsey and are so grateful that you are in our family!!!

Birth Day (or a day or two later) :)

First Birthday

Second Birthday

Here she is with her balloon and her little scrunched smile! She does that every time you tell her to smile for the camera. I remember Gracie going through that phase too. It's so cute!!!

She was still trying to be happy even though she threw up two days ago and has a fever. Poor sweetheart!

We decided to do the cards before the presents so that she would pay attention, but the cards they make now are so much fun I think she would have been fine. She got cards that sing, have lift up flaps, and stickers! She loved them all and when she saw her Strawberry Shortcake card she said, "Shortcake!" It was so cute!!! Thank you so much everyone for the cards and money! She loved them all and kept opening each one of them over and over!
She looks pretty excited for her presents, don't you think?
Her little voice was so cute when she opened this one and grinned, "Mermaid!"
She's crying in the tent picture because she wants the mermaids instead.

The play dough animal bucket was a hit too! They played with it for quite some time.
My Aunt Charlene told me that when her kids were teething she gave them jerky so I thought it was worth a try since he's getting three teeth all at once. He loved it and screamed when we took it away from him.

I bought this pin the tail on the donkey game thinking they probably wouldn't get the concept but they did great! I demonstrated first and they loved it and kept taking turns. They looked so cute with the blindfold! Not bad for a dollar.

Happy Birthday little Love!!! I hope you get feeling better soon!

Coopie!!!

My little man is growing up! He has three teeth on bottom and is getting three more on top! Poor thing - I feel like he pops out a new tooth each day.

I don't remember the girls getting so many at once and he got them a lot earlier too. Gracie didn't get her first tooth until she was eight months old and Lindsey didn't get her first tooth until she was six months old. Cooper just turned six months old and he is such a happy, good baby! He loves his sisters so much and they can get him laughing better than we can! We love our boy!!!

Sick of SICK!!!

Why are my kids always sick? I don't get it. They were sick for a whole month before Cooper was born and afterwards Gracie broke her leg. I was sick of sick then, but now we've started all over again.

We've only been in California for three and a half weeks and we've been to the doctor's office several times. Lindsey started out with double ear infections, Cooper and Gracie got raw throats, all three kids got rashes, Gracie had a fever up to 104, and today waiting in the doctor's office because Gracie is still coughing, my throat is sore, and Lindsey has been fussy all day, so I think she still has the ear infections, Lindsey puked all over herself and me. I tried to rush her to the bathroom so puke trailed the whole way and she started batting her arms trying to get the puke away and almost splattered some other people waiting in the office.

I rushed into the bathroom with Lindsey and realized I shouldn't leave Gracie in the waiting room so I rushed back to get her and of course she's asking me a million questions about the puke while I'm trying to clean it up. AAaaaaaaaHHHhhhhhh!!!!

Poor little Lindsey was trying to grab some paper towels to clean off too while I was. Her shirt was too covered to clean so she just went topless the rest of the visit. The doctor said we all had it and went to fill the prescriptions. Say what??? Why do doctors never communicate and why do I always feel like they're just trying to move on to the next patient before they've finished with me?

I tried to stop him and asked if it was ears or throat or what. He said it was our throats and kept walking down the hall. Trying to get more out of him I asked if it was a virus or what and he said yep, and walked into another room. AAaaaaaHHHhhhhh!!!! He was friendly with the girls and brought them stickers and coloring pages before he checked them, but why won't he tell me what's going on?

I'm going crazy! So now Lindsey, Gracie, and me are starting up a prescription for who knows what. I feel so bad for my babies and I just hope Cooper doesn't get it too and that Lindsey feels better for her birthday and Gracie stops coughing at night so she can sleep and that I have the energy to take care of them while Tim's at work.
