My Big Boy is 1!!!

Those are the same Winnie the Pooh figurines that were on both girls' cakes for their 1st birthdays!

When Cooper saw all the balloons and decorations he kept squealing with delight and clapping his hands. It made me so happy and he has the cutest little grin ever!!! I love my boy so much!!!

Of course right after we lit the candle and turned the video camera on it wouldn't work and said that we needed to eject the tape. I charged it last night and made sure the tape was ready to go but sometimes it does this and we have to put in a cleaning tape. I don't understand it, but needless to say we had a delay, and had to blow out the candle and then re-light it and sing. I wasn't going to miss video-taping his first birthday song and cake!!!

He had been trying to get at those figurines ever since he saw the cake. He finally got one and licked the frosting right off!

One of our 1st birthday traditions is to let the little one eat their piece however they want with no limitations and Cooper sure went at it!!!

He covered his nose too and I was afraid he was going to inhale it! What a mess, but it was so fun!!!
Lindsey must have liked Cooper's method better because she dropped her fork and picked her cake up to eat it too!
After a much needed bath it was time for presents! Cooper didn't quite understand opening presents and his sisters were more than eager to help him out. I started loosing my patience with the girls though because they were yanking things out of Cooper's hands and getting upset when he "messed" things up.
Checking out his John Deere tractor! It was so cute because he started making "vroom" noises and driving it all around. He hasn't really played like that before so it was fun to see! It was hard to get his attention back to opening the rest of the presents. He's his Daddy's boy!!!

We knew he was too little for the T-ball but we figured he could grow into it. He started crying because he didn't like Tim holding his hands on the bat but the girls seemed to enjoy it and kept taking turns wacking at it!

I can't believe Cooper is ONE!!! He's starting to get really fast at walking, blows kisses, gives high fives, and he's really been trying to imitate our words! It will be crazy when he starts talking! He has his one-year doctor appointment on Friday and I'm excited to see how big he is!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Tim brought home roses for me and the girls!!! So Sweet! Also, on Saturday he had the girls bring me breakfast in bed and he reserved the new Twilight movie from Redbox for me! I'm spoiled!

We got Valentine's packages from Grandma and Granny and we loved every bit of it!!! Thank you both! These pictures are of the girls making Valentine cookies from Grandma's package.

The finished product!!! Yummy!

I tried to have the kids spell out "I Love You" with "I-(heart)-U" and this is what I got! I love the heart with all their little hands! The feet are supposed to make the "U" and it doesn't quite look like a "U" but you get the message.
My kids are the cutest!!! I love them so much!

I had them blow kisses to the camera and Cooper kept staring at the girls. I think he thought they were eating something and he wanted to know what he was missing out on. Haha! In the last picture he brought his hand up to his mouth, trying to copy them. Since then he has blown his first kisses and it was so cute!

My sister Heidi started her own photography business! On my blog list on the right, click on Heidi McKinlay Photography to see all the cute Valentine pictures she's taken!

Beautiful Birthday Girl!!!

Four years ago at 4:49 pm on January 30th this little cutie was born! Happy 4th Birthday Gracie Jo!

We started out the morning by putting sticker faces on balloons! For lunch we had Happy Meals and ice-cream cones!

Gracie waited all day for Daddy to get home from work so that the real party could start. Pin the tail on the donkey was a hit once again!
We had pizza and breadsticks for dinner - Gracie's favorite!!!
She was so excited to blow the candles out on her cake!!!
I haven't figured out where to buy helium balloons here so I bought this balloon at Walmart that is just filled with air. Of course she liked it because there were Disney princesses on it! Plus, since it is air-filled I saved it to use again another time.
Bring on the presents!!!Her expressions of excitement are always the best!
Lindsey crying because she got in trouble for opening one of Gracie's presents. Poor thing! It will always be tough for her since Gracie and Cooper's birthdays are only a couple weeks apart. We tried to make it fun for all of them though and Gracie was so good about sharing all of her presents with Lindsey.Cute Little Roo!Sharing with little sister. :)
Posing in some new outfits! The next morning enjoying the birthday gifts again! Thank you everyone for the gifts and phone calls/skype calls. You made her day so much fun! It seemed like the week before her birthday, packages kept coming in the mail and when I would tell her that they were for her birthday she would say, "I'm getting so cited (excited)!" It was so cute.
Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!! I can't believe you're 4!

One low point for me was while taking pictures. I get so frustrated when I try to take pictures of the kids and they won't look at the camera or stay still, etc. and after I took one picture Gracie said all worried, "Did you like that picture Mom?" It broke my heart! I told her that I love every picture of her, but I've got to learn to keep my mouth shut when I take pictures and not get frustrated when they don't turn out.
