Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Steve!!!

My Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Steve had some sort of convention in Nashville so we were able to drive up and visit them!  They were staying in The Gaylord Opryland Resort.  It has a little river flowing through it and we were able to take a boat tour.  The kids loved it and Gracie kept asking to go on the boat ride again.

The tour guide on the boat said that these were papaya.

There is a mall right by the Grand Ole Opry and Aunt Cheryl took us to eat at a restaurant called The Aquarium.  The kids had a blast looking at all the fish!

There was a sign that said not to touch the glass.  I showed the kids the sign and told them what it said. Later, some other kids were touching the glass and Gracie immediately corrected them and pointed to the sign, telling them not to touch the glass.  My cute little Roo is so obedient!

The big fish in the picture below kept rolling around at the bottom just like a dog rolling in the dirt.  It was so funny.  There were a few little sharks in the tank too.

Tim seems to love making weird faces whenever I try and take a picture.

This is a picture of us right outside of the Grand Ole Opry. Someday we'll have to go to a show.  The kids are probably too little for that just yet.  It was so fun to see family!  We had such a great time!

Family Shopping

Sometimes I think four kids really isn't that many, and then there are other times when I think four kids is A LOT of kids.  Haha!  For example . . .

These pictures aren't the best quality since I took them with my phone, and you can't see Olivia's face in the picture below, but I just had to share with our families what a typical grocery store trip is like if we all go. Usually one of us stays home with the kids while the other goes just to be faster, and frankly, so that we have room in the cart for the food.  Haha!  The girls are old enough to walk if we need them to, but shopping carts like these are just too much fun for them!  I'm glad stores make carts like these.  This was the first time we tried to have Olivia sit in a cart and she's not quite able to do it yet, so Tim ended up holding her and pushing the cart with one hand.  She is getting better each day at sitting up though.

Everyone kept smiling and waving at the kids and telling us how beautiful they all were.  One grandma even pulled out her wallet to show me a picture of her redheaded granddaughter.  I'm so grateful when people show kindess instead of annoyance at kids.

The grandpa in front of us in the check out line was smiling and talking to the kids and then his wife had to squeeze past us to join him.  He joked with us saying, "Wasn't that rude of her?" teasing and grinning at his wife.  She chuckled and swatted his butt.  They were the most adorable couple ever! :)

AAAAAaaaHHHHhhhhhh!!!!

Okay, I am DONE with the weird, nasty, Alabama bugs!  The picture below is exactly what I found on our living room floor last night (only I got this picture from the internet)!  A wolf spider with hundreds of babies on its back.  I about puked when I squished them (Tim was already in bed).  EEEeekkk!  The fact that it was INSIDE the house makes it even worse.

We've had several of these in the house and they are so FAST.  They also jump when you try and squish them.  They get pretty big too, bigger than any spiders I've ever seen in Idaho.  When we were looking at houses with our realtor we saw one, so we asked about them. He said that they are harmless spiders.  So at least I am grateful for that, and that since we've moved into our new house, we haven't seen any brown recluses or black widows.

When we were outside the other day Lindsey showed me her hand and it was covered with teeny tiny reddish bugs.  At first I thought it was just dirt until I saw that they were all moving.  Yuck!  I quickly wiped them off with a rag and washed her hands.  Then the other day when I went to feed Olivia her bottle, there were a couple tiny red bugs crawling on the bottle.  I about puked and hurried and rinsed out the bottle and made her a new one.  I can't stand bugs!!!

We have seen a few lightning bugs in our backyard though.  I like those bugs.  :)
