Gracie :)

My Gracie Jo!!! She is so helpful around the house. The other day I told her to clean her room and Lindsey to clean the living room. Gracie finished first and helped Lindsey finish the living room, and then she cleaned up Cooper's room. What a sweet little helper! She'll always run and get things for me when I need them too (like wipes or a diaper). She also helps Lindsey get onto the swing and pushes her if Tim and I aren't able to help.

She is getting smarter and smarter every day and she's really been doing well at writing her letters. Also, she's been drawing very good stick people. The poor thing expects perfection though and she gets really frustrated when things don't look just the way she wanted them to. I've really been praising her so that she knows everything doesn't have to be perfect, but I am the same way. I feel bad for her because I know the pressure I always put on myself to get things just right and I know she's going to be the same way.

She loves dressing up and playing pretend! When she tells me that she's growing up and I tell her that I want her to stay little, she says, "but then I will be a Mommy and you will be a Granny!" I don't think I understood that concept at her age. She loves anything to do with family. Her stick people are almost always Tim, me, her, Lindsey, and Cooper. Whenever we sit down to eat she smiles and says, "Family. . .huh Mom!?!" She always adds "huh Mom?" so that I will agree with her, "Yep Grace!"

She loves being outside and would stay out there all day if I would let her. She's also a little social butterfly and loves playing with other kids.

She's so grown up!!! Pretty girl!

We've been working on writing her name. Her Sunbeam teacher said that she is a hoot and so smart! I love my little Roo!

Her new "pink my favorite" princess hat!

  4. Gracie just looks much too grown up in the top picture-where is the time going? I love the things she comes up with to say. I especially like it when she babies Cooper, "Oh, my little Coop" and pats him on the head. What a wonderful first grandchild she is and the others are learning good things from her. Grandma
