Olivia!

Our beautiful little baby girl 38 weeks 1 day!!! I love that she already has chubby kissable cheeks!

The umbilical cord was floating around by her mouth and chin so that's what all that blurriness is. Her weight estimate is 8 lbs 1 oz but they told me that could be off by up to a pound either way. Hopefully we'll get to hold her soon!!!

We love you already Olivia Lynn!

Little Smarties!

Today was stake conference and our stake president said, "If the tub water is overflowing, do you run and get a mop first, or turn the water off?"  We didn't think any of the kids were listening or paying attention but Lindsey blurted out, "Turn the water off!"  It was so cute!  Then later the story of the wise men and foolish men building their houses on the rock and sand was being told and Lindsey started singing the song.  It's amazing how much they really are listening when you don't think they are.

Cooper was looking at the ABC church book that Grandma made for Gracie and he started pointing at letters and naming them correctly!  I was shocked!  I had no idea he knew some letters.  He can't even talk in complete sentences yet.  He was a grinning flirt like usual with the lady sitting behind us. Every Sunday he gets a new person to fall in love with him!

Gracie drew a picture of the Ninja Turtles for Tim and we were both quite impressed! She even colored all the different eye masks. It's fun to see all the kids learning and growing each day. They always surprise us with what they can do!

Sunday

The kids were just too cute before church today to not take some pictures!

Botanical Garden Lights

The Botanical Gardens in Huntsville have Christmas lights set up each year and they opened it early for members to walk through so we decided to take the kids. They have drive through days too but it's easier to see all the lights when you aren't in a vehicle.  The kids loved it!

We brought coats, hats, and gloves, but it really wasn't cold at all.  The girls were excited about their new coats though so they wanted to wear them anyway.  Their hats wouldn't stay on either but when we asked them if they wanted them off they said no.

Fake snow!  The kids loved it!

At one point while we were walking through Lindsey started singing We Wish You a Merry Christmas.  It was so adorable!!!  On the way home we stopped and got doughnuts and hot chocolate! I love my little cuties!

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong when trying to upload videos from my new camera!  YAY!!!

37 Weeks and Counting

Side view of the pregnant belly 36 weeks, 5 days.  This pregnancy went by fast, but as always the last few weeks are seeming to take forever!  As of now her name will be Olivia Lynn.  We are excited to meet her!

In three weeks (plus or minus) we will have to use four car seats!!! Crazy! Luckily the girls just learned how to buckle themselves in too!  Lindsey can't undo her seat belt yet but she'll learn!  She has also been doing a lot better about getting to the potty for #2 instead of just going in her pants!  Hooray!!!  2 kids potty trained, 2 more to go!  HAHA!!!

Creative Cuties!!!

Gracie asked me if we could turn this box into an airplane and it turned out really good!  Gracie and Lindsey worked so hard drawing windows, passengers, etc.  Little cuties!  In one of the pictures it looked like Gracie was holding her marker like my sister Sarah does, and she is the artist in my family.  I'll have to pay closer attention next time Gracie is coloring to see if she is holding it that way.

Gracie put a rainbow around the sun for the pilots to look at.

From the outside of the plane, looking in a window.

Passenger . . . seat belt and everything! Notice the clouds in the window.

The girls being goofy with their Daddy.

So Blessed!

Poor Cooper's ear started draining all kinds of yuck yesterday so I immediately started worrying and called to make him a doctor appointment today.  He's had a runny nose for a couple weeks now.  Taking all three kids to the doctor's office is anything but fun and I didn't want to get a babysitter because the girls are sick too.  I am so grateful that Tim's employers have always been understanding and supportive of family so Tim was able to meet up with us at the doctor's office and watch the girls while I took Cooper in.

The doctor said that the drainage from his ear meant that the tubes were doing their job.  She said that if he didn't have tubes all that goo coming out would be stuck behind his eardrum and he would be in a lot of pain.  I was so relieved and it made me feel better about the decision to get him tubes in the first place.  I am also grateful that she gave him a prescription because she said if the runny nose has lasted this long and started draining out the ear, then it was probably a sign of sinus infection.  I hate going to the doctor and being told there is nothing we can do but wait so I am so thankful that he has the medicine.

Tim went back to work and I took the kids to Wendy's (I know I always complain about Moms taking their sick kids places to share their germs with everyone but it was lunchtime and I was afraid Cooper would fall asleep on the way home before he got lunch and his nap would be all messed up).  Anyway, everyone kept smiling at the kids and several people came up to me to compliment me on how well behaved my children were.  It made me so happy!  They really are good kids and I love them so much!  I'm thankful for the kind words strangers gave me about my little darlings!  I am a truly blessed Momma!
