Elizabeth was so sweet to use her vacation time to rescue her Alabama family!!! With my radiation we knew I would need to be in isolation from the kids for at least a week, and Elizabeth was an answer to our prayers! So was a sweet couple in our ward who offered to let me stay in their home while they were on vacation. It would have been too difficult to try to keep separate from everyone in our bedroom, and we had been considering having me stay in a motel for a week. It was a lot better to have a home to stay in!
All our kids were coughing and snot nosed, and Lindsey was still recovering from her surgery, so poor Elizabeth didn't really get a break from being a nurse! Tim and I were so relieved to have family and a nurse taking care of the kids while I was gone and he was at work. We can't thank you enough Elizabeth!!!
We had a lot of fun making some gingerbread houses! Gracie is really focused on following the directions on the box!
The kids weren't quite sure how to eat them afterwards. I liked Lindsey's solution!!!
Aunt Elizabeth helped the kids make some Christmas sugar cookies! I wasn't thinking a couple months back when I bought blue frosting and fish sprinkles, but oh well! The kids liked it!
Olivia being a goof with fake laughs while the big kids made the cookies . . .
Coop looked so cute on his computer that I just had to take pictures!
We love you Aunt Elizabeth! Thank you so much for all your help! What a blessing you are to us!
What a sweet angel to go and help you guys out! Thanks, Elizabeth! On another note, Grace looks so grown-up in these pictures.
