Georgia!

For Spring Break we were able to go to Atlanta to visit Uncle Sam and Aunt Kirsten!

We went to the aquarium our first day there and it reaffirmed my feelings of never wanting to swim too far out in the ocean or go snorkeling. Haha! Underwater creatures are beautiful and weird and great to look at when they are behind glass and I'm not actually swimming with them. Although it would be neat to swim with or at least touch a dolphin someday.

The kids were able to touch some sea anemones and starfish. Poor Gracie was running a fever and she seemed pretty miserable that day.

The beluga whales were really neat too!

Olivia and Cooper had fun giving this scuba diver high fives and blowing him kisses.

These are shark eggs, known as Mermaid purses.

We were able to see the dolphins for a brief minute before their show.

Olivia was a big grump and so ready for a nap. She's pouting against Tim in these two pics right before the dolphin show. It was so cute to see all the kids mouths drop open the first time the dolphins leaped high out of the water. No photography was allowed.

The next day we went to a place called Noah's Ark where they have animals rescued from abuse or retired from circuses, zoos, etc. It's free to the public and they have a really nice playground area too.

This buffalo had been laying down right by the fence but he got up to walk away as soon as we got close. Then he turned his behind to us and pooped! The kids got a kick out of that!

Our last night there Kirsten painted all the girls fingernails and they had a sleepover in the living room with her while me and Tim got to watch a movie in the other room. Thanks Kirsten and Sam! We had a lot of fun!
