Williamsburg

Yesterday we went to Williamsburg. It's an old colonial town where workers are dressed up according to the times and you get to see old buildings, stores, churches, etc. There is so much history out here and I am not good with history. I better start reading and educating myself. We got to cross the James River on a ferry! It was so weird to drive our van onto the ferry and cross. It's interesting that some people do this every day to get to work.

Tim and Kirsten in the stocks in Williamsburg. I didn't take many pictures. It was pretty hot so if anyone is planning on visiting us I would suggest coming in the spring or fall. There is so much to do out here but a lot of it involves walking and if it's too hot for me you know it's too hot for everyone else. Luckily a lot of the paths were shaded. On the way back from Williamsburg we went a different route and we got to cross a drawbridge. It was really neat but I didn't have my camera handy. I'll have to take pictures another time when we cross it.
