This blog post has pictures from two different trips to the gardens. The first one was as a family the Saturday before my surgery. We wanted to do something fun and the gardens were having their annual themed "scarecrow" trail. The pictures of the kids posed by different characters are the "scarecrows". They also still had their "Giant Garden, Little Me" going on. They have new themes for the garden each year I guess. We've really enjoyed this place!
This dragon scarecrow with her egg was my favorite one!
Lindsey asked me to take a picture of her with Snoopy. :)
Giant croquet game. So cool! I've got a video of it at the end of this post.
Tim and the kids love watching Phineas and Ferb together.
Cooper loves watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. He always says, "I want to watch Dan-ee-all!" So funny! The little stinker refuses to look at me when I try to take his picture and he usually moves right when I take it so it ends up blurry.
Sunflower maze . . .
Lindsey crying because she got hurt in the sunflower maze . . .
Pull, Grace, Pull!!!
Still not recovered from the maze injury, so she resorted to sulking in the stroller while sucking her thumb. She's usually my tough one too.
I thought these purple puffy plants were so pretty. Not sure what they are called.
Watching the train and mini village.
I've been getting asked a lot lately in stores if Coop and Linds are twins. Cooper is definitely going to pass her up one day. Little cuties!
Now on to the second garden visit. When Kala and her family visited us for Halloween we wanted to show them the gardens. I hope they enjoyed it! For this trip Tim was at work and Gracie was in school. It has been strange going places without her during the day.
Cute little family . . . and baby boy on the way!!!
This is what happens when Cooper plays in the sand. Dirty boy!!!
How fun! What a pretty place, and great activities!
ReplyDeleteO.K. Granny shouldn't have been a stick in the mud! It looks like a great place Kristi! What an amazing mom you are! Thanks for being you!
