Vocabulary Parade

We got up even earlier on Friday so that I could be sure to get the girls hair and makeup done and take pictures before school. Someone posted a bunch of different Halloween hairstyles on Facebook, so that's where I got the idea for Lindsey's hair.

They both wanted to wear their Halloween costumes for the vocabulary parade, so Gracie was an EVIL witch and Lindsey was a PRESERVED mummy.

Gracie and her friend Haley were both witches. Haley's word was MISUNDERSTOOD. I thought that was pretty creative! I couldn't think of a unique word for witch.

HaLLoWeEn!!!

I love fall so much! We learned that if you carve pumpkins in Alabama they rot right away, so we've had to think of alternate decorating ideas through the years, or if we do carve them, everyone says to rub vaseline all over them. This was a decoupage kit from the store.

Olivia was crying and not wanting anything to do with a costume until she got her banana.

Cooper and his friend Duncan were twinners!
