Colter and Sage's Wedding!

My baby brother got married on October 16, 2015. Since Colter and Sage got married in San Diego, Tim and the kids weren't able to come along, but I'm glad I was able to go!

It was exciting when I arrived at the car rental place and they told me to go pick which car I wanted from the lot. That will never happen in "real" life, so it was thrilling to get to pick! I loved this little blue baby!!! Can't beat 37.4 miles per gallon!

My sweet friend Kala lives in San Diego, and I appreciated so much getting to stay the night at her home and see her cute family! We met in Virginia, and I'm so happy we've been able to stay in contact! She always helped me with my babies in Virginia and now she has two adorable cuties of her own. Ella was the sweetest little angel letting me sleep in her bed, and Sully is a doll!!!

Even though I got in late, and had a short trip (less than two days), Kala made sure I got to see some of the amazing sights! They took me to Hotel del Coronado, a famous hotel where Marilyn Monroe filmed Some Like it Hot.

These chandeliers are from The Wizard of Oz!

It was so pretty on the beach! They had little bonfires lit all over. Sadly, most of my pictures didn't turn out. Now I know my phone isn't the best for night shots.

Thanks Kala and Danny!!! Your kids are adorable and so sweet!

Kala told me that her daughter Ella calls the San Diego temple Elsa's castle. So cute! It really is absolutely gorgeous!

The handsome couple - officially hitched!!! I didn't want to get in the way of the professional photographer, so I had to be quick to sneak this one on my phone!!!

As always, Heidi did an outstanding photography job on wedding/engagement photos!!! She took all of these in Idaho so that they could be on display at the reception and luncheon. Beautiful!!!

We relaxed at a park in between the luncheon and reception and then I headed back to the airport to catch a red-eye home.

The plane was already boarded on my second leg of the trip home, when the stewardess came over the intercom offering a $1000 travel voucher to passengers willing to take a later flight, so that they could get some employees on board. I decided to take it so that grandparents can fly out for Gracie's baptism in January!

Congratulations Colter and Sage!!! Love ya!

  2. I didn't know you did all that! How fun! Wish we all could have stayed just a little bit longer, but it was so great to see you!
