My Mom flew out to visit and spoil us right after her volleyball team won state! Congrats Mom!!!
She spoiled us so much with yummy meals and new clothes and gifts and babysitting the kids for multiple doctor appointments and dates and a temple trip! Not to mention staying up at night with a coughing Gracie! Poor thing couldn't beat that cough! Thank you Mom! We love you!
Here she is holding Olivia during story time at the library.
The kids riding the toys at the mall . . . (Gracie was at school - I've noticed going through my camera how much she has been gone, but she sure loves Kindergarten!)
On one of the trips to the mall we visited Santa!!! The girls both asked for barbies and Cooper asked for a dump truck. It's hard to get a picture with four kids, but I wish the lady getting their attention with a toy would have held it a bit higher, so that they wouldn't have been looking down. Grace wasn't, but the other three were. They are still so cute!!!
I asked Lindsey what toys Santa would bring me and Tim and she said, "Moms and Dads don't get toys, they get stuff!" Love the things kids say!
Cooper brushing Granny's hair . . . every night he wouldn't let anyone put him to bed except Granny!
One night we went to the Jordan Circus. It was fun! Especially when the kids got to ride the elephant and pony. We let them choose, and Gracie and Cooper wanted to ride the elephant, and Lindsey chose the pony. When the other two were on the elephant, she said, "Mommy I want you to ride the elephant with me," so she must have been scared, but we had already bought the tickets. I think she still had fun on the pony though, and I believe this circus comes here annually.
We got a sitter for Olivia since we knew we would be out late, and apparently she cried for the sitter the whole time. We were gone from 6 to 10 and her bedtime is 7, so we thought it would be an easy job for the sitter. Olivia sure is not as social as the other kids have been!
Lindsey was the only kid who liked the cotton candy! More for me!!!
Waiting on the stairs for their turn . . .
Front row seats!!! They were so cute and excited up there!
Lindsey waiting with Daddy for her turn on the pony . . .
We miss you Mom! Thanks for all the fun! By the way, we DROVE through the lights at the gardens, and while they were neat, it was long just driving, so walking would have been a nightmare - especially as chilly as it has gotten! Good call!
Looks like you had a blast! I want to ride the elephant! I can't wait until I start working again and can afford to go visit you guys!
