A friend watched Cooper and Olivia for me so that I could surprise Lindsey at school and eat lunch with her for her birthday! She was so cute and shy!
She picked out a multi-colored cake and I was so nervous that I was going to mess it up and all the colors would blend together and just make a brown mess! Thankfully, it turned out!
The candies that she picked to put on the cake were all stuck to the paper that they came on, so we made a quick trip to the store for her to pick something else. She got some pretty pink sixlets!
We found out that Gracie already told Lindsey about this Elsa Barbie awhile ago, even though we told her not to tell, so I am glad that is the only present Gracie knew about ahead of time. Little stinker!
Playing with all the new fun things! Thank you so much everyone for the gifts, cards, phone calls, etc!
I found a cute little monkey pinata that I thought fit Lindsey perfectly! They all made the cutest faces when it was their turn to swing!
It wasn't breaking, so Tim told me to take a turn, and I got it! Ha!
The monkey face was still all in one piece, so I asked Lindsey if she wanted to keep it and she did.
We sure love our cute, spunky, smart, funny Lindsey Lee, and we are so blessed to have her in our family! It was fun to end the day by watching home video from when she was born. She had soooo much hair! Her little eyes lit up and she had a cute grin on her face when we watched it. Love you Linds! Hope you had a great birthday!
Looks like your 5th birthday was everything and more! So glad you came to our family, Lindsey Lee! Your cake was so colorful...good job decorating it!
