New Things

One Sunday I had had enough of always just sitting at home doing the same things all the time, so I suggested we go for a walk. Someone had posted about a local walking trail and how beautiful it was, so we thought we'd try it out. It was beautiful, but you'd think we'd killed the kids. They just kept saying, "Why are we doing this? I'm tired! I want to go home! This is too long!" I was disgusted that we had finally gotten away from sitting at home watching tv and we were out doing something physical together, and my kids were being spoiled brats. I guess this is a sign that we need to get out even more! Haha! They did like getting to feel the cotton at least!
